VidaXL – Operations Manager

Job description:

• You monitor the quality of the logistics processes and ensure that the agreed KPIs are achieved.
• You monitor daily the KPIs and troubleshooting with the goal that all day-to-day work is completed meeting the standards in Safety, Quality, 5S, in time delivery, productivity & costs.
• You analyze the daily operation and processes and constantly strive for improvement and optimization.
• You plan, coordinate and pay attention to the deployment of personnel and you are ultimately responsible for the implementation of the personnel policy and the training of operational personnel.
• Provide leadership and direction to the logistics team and proactively encourage and motivate all employees to contribute to performance improvement through a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitoring, measuring KPI’s and reporting day-to-day operational performance and troubleshooting with the goal.
• Actively excecutes the lean-champion role to ensure the operations will achieve the highest standards of operational excellence. (ensuring compliance with 5S and daily sum meetings and supporting improvement projects).

Job requirements:

• Proven Management experience at Operational Level.
• Track record on Lean management (5S, set-up daily SUM meetings, Kaizen and DMAIC improvement cycle).
• Ability to deliver change and continuous improvements through effective communication at all levels
• Over 10 years operational warehousing experience in a leading role.
• SAP/EWM knowledge is a pre.
